Thumbs up

Was modeling this in OR and this rocket as designed and built would BE UNSTABLE on engines in the E range. CG moves to far back towards the CP. But 1.5" stretch and .75oz of weight makes it work in OR. I also found from another forum a digital model done and imported it in to OR and the same was true for that model also and the fixes I mentioned also worked in that model.
So that is the plan.

Been working on the legs today not worth putting a photo of maybe I will make a build thread IF it all works out. Seems like a worthy challenge. When everyone says "CAN'T BE DONE", I like to think maybe I CAN DO IT.

L/G~

It would be unstable on an Estes E9 or E12 due to the weight but not on the "D" sized Aerotech E28 or E30.

Use the E30. You won't be disappointed.
Estes recommends ONLY the E30 for the 1/45 Little Joe II, and that is both lighter and thinner.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !
