I normally just look at the new posts list when I come here to YORF, so actually, I did not notice which forum it was originally posted to. I simply replied to the OP's question with what i had.

I suppose the SOT could be a stand way off Concept Sport Scale model — with no documentation I can provide.

Well, the D-7 Battlecruiser could also be a Concept Sport Scale model, actually....

That said, if Scott wants to take my posts, Lee's replies and the rest to a "more appropriate" place, he is certainly free to do so.

But the OP said

But all of these posted rocket pictures are beautiful and should be posted. Scale or sport, seeing the great job people do is inspiring. If Eagle3 wants to move this thread to the Project thread, that's fine too.

Keep posting. I want to see what's being built right now. It beats watching the news.

So whatever he and Scott want, I will abide. And I will look at the forum in which new posts are made in the future, so as to be less likely to talk out of turn....

I don't think there is anything lingering. I just have to be smarter about hydrating, and any time I have to be smarter about something there are bound to be snags. B6-4 Field probably thinks I'm mad or something.

IMHO,

Data of lasting importance and interest should go under "Scale."

Builds, unless documented to the point to help those who may choose to follow, should go under "Projects."

Post your present scale project. Pics or it didn't happen.

I'm trying to work a couple of scale projects here, but I'm afraid they're both still in the very early stages.

My teammate, Steve Foster, has held a long time interest in the Australian Long Tom, so I thought I'd give that one a shot. But there's a long way to go before that one rolls to the launch pad.

I'm also gearing up to revisit my Super Chief. I wasn't able to fully complete that model and it subsequently took a beating during its flight. So I'd like to do a 2.0 and maybe actually finish it this time. Lots to do there.

Very nice! Love that Saturn V. I once built the Centuri one myself back in 69-70 range. I've built several Estes Saturn V's to. One is retired at Dalton L. McMichael High School ROTC room still hanging from the ceiling. Estes 2001 model.

Good flying!

Here is what the RIM-67 looks like: Note the similarities.

Earl-
I suggest you DITCH that 3x18mm mount in your Original Centuri Saturn V build and use a 29mm motor tube.
It makes good common sense and allows for MANY power options.
There is NO sense in making a Saturn V an underpowered turd.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !
