The C6 is a good looking car - I’ve never sat in one, did GM improve the inside as much as the rest? The C5 was a landmark design but very much let down by it’s generic 80s GM interior. I can’t beat up on minivans, my Ford Aerostar was just about the most useful vehicle I ever owned. And other than the multiple failures of the horn we didn’t have a single problem for nearly 100k miles. Yes it was slow and goofy looking but all four of us plus camping gear were a comfortable fit, it could pull a pop up camper, when our parents visited everyone could go out to eat in one vehicle, with some finagling I could weasel a motorcycle inside, with a cheap blue tarp down on the floor I hauled just about anything you can think of in it - lumber, mulch, gravel, firewood, and I easily hit mid 20s MPG commuting to work (being a cheapskate I generally have a pretty light foot while “utility” driving).

I drive a looks-like-new Subaru Outback, which gets me thru snow far better than what you say you drive. It's great for loading up a bunch of stuff for rocket launches, especially NARAM. And it has pretty nice fuel mileage for its size and volume. I love it. Also, had a 2" Trailer hitch installed, so I can use it for a rental trailer (done so a few times). Although the most use I get out of of that is a nice bike rack that fits into the hitch socket, to transport my bike to group bike rides, or to ride solo on one of the nice bike trails in the area. And have a cargo carrier that mounts into it too, to carry even more stuff such as to NARAMs. Stuff like EZ-up type canopy, a fold-up wagon to move stuff around from car to hotel room as well as at the field, folding chair, and cooler, leaving room inside the car for more stuff. SO convenient to have that hitch capability. I don't need a too-small gas guzzling car for the sake of my ego to brag about, and try to make up for shortcomings. .

I have a trailer hitch on my CT6 as well, and it is AWD.
The CT6 has a trunk size that is "Mobster Approved" The C6 has a MUCH better interior than the C5. C6 Corvette gets 30mpg at over 80mph on the freeway. Doubt the Outback does that. Corvette is all about fun. Has the right number of doors, seats, and cylinders. 2-2-8 ! Has nothing to do with NEED, and all about WANT.
