Just heard in the live coverage here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN57x2a_waw That the launch window CLOSES at 9:30 AM central time and that the window opens "just over 1 hour and 45 minutes from now." Weather looks good and the dude talking on the live feed just said "No range violations today, please" something I mentioned I was concerned about since the exclusion zones in the Gulf are so huge.

The other day I sat next to a woman who has a profound fear of flying. I wanted to comfort her, so I said, "Don't worry, we're not gonna' crash. Statistically, we got a better chance of being bitten by a shark." Then I showed her the scar on my elbow from a shark attack. I said, "I got this when my plane went down off of Florida." - Dennis Regan |

As we used to say waiting for the big projects to go at LDRS and other experimental motor launches, "Whether it goes or blows, it's gonna be a show!".
I think this first Starship launch attempt fits that category! Though, like the launches at LDRS, I hope it goes! And just 22 minutes left to go..... Earl

And launch scrubbed for today...will be used as a wet dress rehearsal instead. I guess not surprising with a vehicle this size to have first launch issues.
