Nike Hercules and Nike Ajax Kits are Ready!
You heard right!
After much much work and a lot of parts counting I finally have kits ready to ship. I'm making more as we speak but I have ready... Ten (10) 4 x 18mm Nike Hercules kits ready. Unfortunately those are all reserved but I am making more. The Nike Hercules 4 x 18mm kits are $90 each plus $5 shipping. Ten (10) 4 x 13mm Nike Hercules kits. These are identical to the 4 x 18mm but smaller (1/24th scale 20" tall) . $65 each plus $5 shipping. And a new unmentioned kit...a 1/12th scale Nike Ajax (same scale as the 4 x 24mm Nike Hercules). Because of the sustainer transition I have had to limit these to 18mm powered motors. The Nike Ajax sells for $40 plus $5 shipping. Below are pics of two of the three succesful flights of the prototypes at NARAM 49. All of the kits include everything you need, patterns, templates, printed detail pats, laser cut parts, waterslide decals (by Excelcior Rocketry), balsa nose cones and transitions. email me at gagnello (at) yahoo (dot) com I take Paypal, personal check (I don't wait for them to clear) money orders, Gold Bell Gift Stamps, fresh chickens and small children as long as they are old enough and strong enough to work 12 hours a day.

Sandman, thanks for the replacement tubes! The ones in my kit were brown. Thanks for the extra, the support is much appreciated. Either color would have sufficed, they're getting painted anyway.

A 'Care Package' arrived today...
I got my 1/16th scale Nike-Hercules in today's mail. All I can say is
WOW ! Even a Cad drawing of the launcher is on the disk. The work you have done on the transition is Fan-blooming-tastic, Gordon. Kudos to you for the work that goes into each of your kits. Us die-hards appreciate it. Hope to catch up with you at Naram 50.

I am almost done with my 4x13mm Nike Hercules! Since I am unable to post for some reason on TRF I thought I would share a couple of pictures of it here! Was a great build-even with the few typos(wrong measurments in the instructions) things went together very smoothly!!
Oh, I also worked on the Rocksim file that was included on my CD and got it as a single stage rocket! Took a little bit of fudging around to get the 4 tubes in place and recognized by RS as motor tubes, but I think it fairly represents the kit! Here is a dry fit after I glued the fins on the nose cone..I still need to paint and once that is done the middle section gets glued together..
