Let me check my fridge.
If not, I know of a local bar that still has a supply of Old Style on hand in cans from 1982.

Oh Pooh! I haven't had an Old Style since the Air Force assigned me to Carswell AFB (BRAC'ed in '93) from Wurtsmith AFB (et tu BRAC '93) bACK IN 1983. Of course, that didn't make me give up beer. I will have a limited amount of Rahr and Sons beer from Fort Worth at NARAM and on to visit my family in Central Ohio.
You have to "love" a tiny bar in northern MI that gives you a six ounce glass and a 32 ounce Old Style for less than $2. I think.... Decades ago.
Since Carl has been in suspened animation for 31 years, is he still old enough to enjoy an adult beverage?
I'm thinking yes...

I think I was fed some 21 year old beer at NARCON!

Heh, Old Doggy Style was our fraternity (Triangle) beer in the early 80's.

Not by me! That was "Scotty The Pooh" aka "The Beer Skunk". He hasn't been around much lately.

I'll be there ready to loft said beverage (even "the Pooh's" skunky stuff). I'm camping at a place called Winton Woods - 6 miles from the hotel & 15 miles to the field. Lofting in a lobby, lofting around a fire - what the hey, lofting is lofting (hic...). Planning on bringing some interesting adult beverages.

Unfortunately, the Kelo man isn't making it this year. Just saw his Round Tuit teammate, Randy Boadway - Kelo's company (Edge Sweets - engineering, not candy) was awarded some high-falutin govt contracts (meaning much work & travel for Kelo) & a daughter is getting married (add sound of $$$$$ going round & round - cha ching).

(Marginally related side note - we're bringing a couple of fru-fru pups down with us - Tootsie & Kirby. Kirby got his name from Kelo's pet parakeet...)

In any case, looking forward to coming to Cinci...

Jack

I won't be making it to NARAM, but I do plan to be at NARCON next spring (though I guess it's still winter in Wisconsin in early March).
