I've said it elsewhere, but as a manager/leader in a major company business school teaches you that for every negative experience/comment a customer has it's shared with 10 people. And for each large company, negative experiences can often represent the opinions of up to 10,000 individuals - so take each one seriously.
For each positive experience, individuals generally share that with 3-5 people. Each Company, CEO, Director, Program Manager, or Project Manager has a choice in how they want to be viewed. . . I'm very well aware that anything I say in my position will be shared with others. I'd be naive (as nice as I can put it) to think anything else. And, yes, I've been figuratively slapped at times - such is how I've learned. |
