Wow the Gee Hod's are here already! One of them came with a production number of 00017.

I don't have much building time available over the next several days but I am going to start building the un-numbered kit.

The quality of materials (as always with any Semroc kit) is excellent and they arrived almost before I even ordered them as usual.

I'm still scratching my head over the idea that the new Gee'hod kit is "un-PC." Yes, I do realize that being irreverent is part of the whole cachet of the Groonies (and that is one of the things that I really like about them ), but seriously, when did it become un-PC to mock al-Qaeda? Between here and Tora Bora, who could possibly have any problem with dissing OBL?

I do like it, though; I just love all of the little details. I think that it is the best Groonie yet. Great job!

We see it as mocking al-Qaeda. Others may see it as slamming Islam as not all holy wars have been fought by OBL against the USA.

BTW, I'm all for the model.

I just finished the Geehod build. The decals are on and after a clear coat it will be ready to fly.

This was my first goonie and it probably won't be my last. The build was a lot of fun.

If I have time later I'll take and post a couple of pictures.
