Default Estes Sold...

To Great Planes. What a surprise! Our Great Planes sale rep called me today to let me know. I had told him that they had bought Estes a couple of months ago and he had no clue... Now its official. AND I'm told they will stay in Colorado.

Did he give any details, like is it a "done deal" or pending?

Having seen these kinds of processes on the periphery, sometimes things cannot be said because they would violate SEC regulations.

Scott,

I have been searching for the "For Immediate Release" statement. No joy yet.

I'm sure someone will find it.

Well, I guess I was the first to find out from my sales rep. The higher powers there had a meeting regarding the announcement several hours ago. He let me know right away to avoid my "I told you so" call.

Umm, Barry is going to be a consultant? I don't think this is a good idea. Estes just about stagnated under his "reign".

Typically when the outgoing manager is hired as a consultant the purpose is to keep him from working for a compeditor, he will be payed for doing nothing - just like Conan O'Brian!
